Job Opportunities For The Filipina Lady

Written by admin. Posted in Uncategorized

Traditionally, when Filipina ladies get married, they are destined to stay at home to take care of the children and the family but this practice is slowly being abandoned. Times have changed and more Filipina women are seeking work outside the home, primarily to augment the family income and to satisfy their personal achievement.

Gone was the practice of the olden times when girls were asked to stop studying as soon as they finish elementary school because “their husbands will take care of them when they marry”. The Philippine government began stressing the importance of education especially and poured billions of pesos in educational projects, resulting to the production of well-educated Filipinos.

Armed with versatility and a well-founded educational background, the Filipina ladies can avail of a vast choice of job opportunities both in their country and abroad. If you marry a Filipina lady, do not expect her to stay at home and follow your wishes because she will want to work and earn her own income. Further, you will be surprised at her capabilities.

In reality many Filipina ladies have advanced degrees of education and the opportunities for their advancement are endless. If you envisioned a Filipina wife to be there for you when you get home from work, be there to fetch your slippers and ready with a hot meal waiting for you, eager to rub your back and wipe your sweat, or ply you with drinks as you sprawl on the sofa with the television on, you can think again! This is especially true if your wife happens to come from a well-educated and work-oriented background. Do not get this wrong, she will be willing to do this for you and serve you out of love but not because she is obliged to.

The modern Filipina is restless and would like to earn her own income, especially as she thinks she will have to save to send money to her family to the Philippines. Work should not be hard to find for a Filipina lady because she is flexible, hardworking, dedicated and quick to learn and adapt to new surroundings.

A Filipina is not choosy when it comes to finding work and with her educational background, she can easily fill in job vacancies in your country. She can teach, do research works, or join the medical workers team as a nurse, doctor or any other work in the medical field.

She can also be reliable in filling managerial and supervisory works, accounting, office or clerical work, but no matter how high her educational attainment is, she will not hesitate to fill in other jobs like being a saleslady, a waitress, baby sitter, caretaker in a home for the aged, or any job that would fit in with her skills and qualifications.

A Filipina woman’s work orientation and her independent spirit would prevent her from solely relying on you for finances because she would hate to be a liability to you for life.

The Dark Side of Online Dating

Knowing the Risks and the Warning Signs

Online or Internet dating has brought many people together and created a whole new platform for meeting someone special. It’s cheap, there’s no noisy bars to deal with, and one can pursue the search, worldwide, from the comfort of his or her home. Yes, online dating is wonderful. While this new and increasingly common form of dating offers many benefits, there are also many dangers, including but limited to, identity theft, financial loss, and of course, heartache. This article discusses some of the risks of Internet dating, and how to recognize the warning signs.

The Perfect Photo

Anyone can be beautiful on the Internet. Knowing whether or not his or her photo is the real thing is just the beginning in the long list of questions that arise when dating online. The truth is, there’s just no way to know. If the photo appears that it has been taken from a magazine, well, it probably has. Follow your instincts as well. Ask yourself if the personality matches the photo. Does this person seem sincere? Have you talked to this person enough on the phone, and if you have, does the voice match the photo? Confirming identity when dating online is difficult.

The Potential Dangers

As the number of honest individuals dating online rises, so too is the number of scammers and criminals. Match making websites are booming and new ones are popping up each month. Internet relationships are especially open to manipulation and fraud. Scammers are increasingly sophisticated in their techniques, and it doesn’t take a fool to be a victim. One warning sign is always the same, the advance fee or request for financial assistance. Be very skeptical of anyone overseas who claims to have been in an emergency and who requires financial assistance. If you decide to give the person the benefit of the doubt and continue in the relationship, at the very least, get a background check.

Seeking Verification

Depending on the nature of the relationship, and where the subject resides, different services are available to confirm his or her story. Wymoo International covers over 100 countries with background checks and surveillance, and the firm offers peice of mind for those relationships begun on sites such as Match.com. For relationships in the Philippines, such as those started on Cebuanas.com or Filipinaheart.com, we recommend Philippine PI, a U.S. based firm that specializes in background checks and surveillance in the Philippines. This group has offices in major cities such as Manila and Cebu. The costs of the services depend on the investigation and the specific needs of the client. For most cases, turnaround times are usually one week or less.

On The Incumbency of the Philippine Fifth President: The Beginning of the World Catastrophe

Written by admin. Posted in Uncategorized

When I was still young I had a dream. As I was sleeping I tranced into a revealing vision. Initially, I never cared about this vision treating it as just a dream and hence, would never happen, until these recent days that I came to remember about it and analyzed what would that message mean.

Sometime in 1972 in a Police Headquarters of one of Laguna’s chartered cities, two police patrolmen were casually exchanging views as to who would be the next President of the Philippines after the term of Mr. Marcos. Both were anxious to know who could really beat Marcos should he ever allow the government to hold presidential election. The policeman who seemed to be a pro-Marcos believer insisted that Marcos shall remain forever, considering his enormous political power and martial law rules. In the middle of the discussion, an old man in the late 70′s who was keeping an ear on the discussion politely cut in and delivered his dialogue:  “It is imminent that President Marcos shall step down from the power comes few years ahead. As a matter of fact, there would still be four more Philippine President after him.  To include Mr. Marcos’ surname initial, four more presidential initials would follow which shall compose the particular word “MARIA”.  The fifth initial which stands for “A” is a lady who would be the last president of the Republic.  During the lady president’s incumbency, the Philippines shall be the starting place of the world catastrophe which may eventually turn to the end of the world. But several more years prior to its catastrophic occurrence,  the Philippines shall first soar into a great nation and shall be considered as one of the richest countries in the world. The fact is, there would still be three more presidents under the lady president’s  administration”.

In my younger mind of 21 (now I’m over 50′s),  I was there wondering whether this old man was telling the truth or not considering that it was still Mr. Marcos’ incumbency and nobody ever knew whether there would really be another election at that time  There were also some lingering questions that I set aside at that time:

What does the abbreviation “M.A.R.I.A.” stand for;? How is it possible for the Philippines to become one of the richest countries in the world considering the present economic crisis; Why should there be three more presidents under Ms. A’s presidency? And why of all countries should the small Philippines be the source of the world catastrophe which may eventually turn to the end of the world?

1.  What does the abbreviation “M.A.R.I.A.” stand for;?

Today in the year 2009, I now am able to analyze what are all those things mean. The word “MARIA” stands for “Marcos”, “Aquino”, “Ramos”, “Estrada”, “Arroyo”. Why? Estrada does not have initial of  “I”.  Well, the answer is simple, in the countryside the word that spells “MAREA” is spoken and sounded as “MARIA”, that is self-explanatory.

2. How is it possible for the Philippines to become one of the richest countries in the world considering the present economic crisis;

The Philippines, as a small third country which is indulged in serious economic and political crisis, may still have a chance to prove that it can possibly be one of the richest countries in the world considering its great volumes of precious reserves and mineral deposits particularly, the so-called “Deuterium: The White Gold of the Philippines”.

According to Major Tom/June 17, 2008, (Deuterium: The White Gold of the Philippines, The Economy Science and Technology),  “the Philippines is identified to hold the greatest amount of deuterium deposit, somewhere in the area known as Mindanao Trench, the part of the Pacific Ocean just off the shores of Surigao. Deuterium is most prevalent in an area more widely known in the whole world as The Philipppine Deep. In the Freeman news article (dated August 2004), Dr. Anthony B. Halog, the Filipino scientist working at the Sustainable Technology Office of the Institute for Chemical Process and Environmental Technology, and the National Research Council of Canada described the Philippine deuterium wealth in this manner:

“A big deposit of 868 miles long, 52 miles at widest point, and 3 miles at deepest point, replenished by nature 24 hours a day after deuterium travels more than 12,000 kilometers from Central America to the Philippines through the span of the Pacific Ocean when Planet Earth turns on its axis from West to East in unending perpetual motion.”

And it’s potential in this breathe: “At 12 million barrels per day capacity priced at US$7.00 per barrel, this is US$84 million per day or US$30.66 billion per year, enough to wipe out all existing foreign debts of the Government in one year, revenue-wise in foreign exchange.”

3.  Why should there be three more presidents under Ms. A’s presidency?

Under the present territorial setting, federalism issue and the conversion into state (just like in America) of the three major island groups of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, is presently being raised for debate in the Philippine Congress/Senate? (Please correct me if I’m wrong.)  What is Federalism  by the way?

It is a system of government in which a written constitution divides the powers of government on a territorial basis. The division is made between a central, or national, government and several regional or local governments. Each level of government has its own area of powers. Neither level, acting alone, can change the basic division of powers the constitution makes between them. Each level operates through its own agencies and acts directly on the people through its own officials and laws.  (Reference: http://firstclass.rfsd.k12.co.us/~mschneiter/Fad/legislative_1_federalism.htm)

Now we see picture.  There can be three more presidents under one over-all president should there be a conversion of these three major island groups of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao into the so-called state. As in the U.S., a state is headed by the Governor and as in the case of the Visayas island  in the Philippines, it would be headed by the Visayas President, and so with Luzon and Mindanao  for that matter.

4.  And why of all countries should the small Philippines be the source of the world catastrophe?

Ever realized that the late movie actor Fernando Poe, Jr.  did not make it to the Presidency despite his popularity? It may be a will of doom to let President Arroyo stay in power and experience the end of the world. Since the Philippines is set to become one of the richest countries in the world for its sky-rocketing deuterium production, there is an imminent danger of resentment among other countries, focusing enviously on the Philippine healthy economy while the others experience economic global crisis. Such perspective may eventually generate conflict among four big nations. With the use of modern and sophisticated military hardware, regardless of leveling themselves into an offensive-and-defensive position, but with one particular aspect – and that is  to defend and destroy,  this  may become catastrophic situation and may eventually trigger to the end of the world. Just an opinion.

The Best Ways To Send Money To The Philippines

Written by admin. Posted in Uncategorized

There are many ways to send money to your loved-ones in the Philippines, and some methods work better for others. You just have to choose which service is more convenient to you and your recipient in terms of security, availability, remittance charges, and the speed of delivery.

Sending Online

With the advent of the internet, sending money online is now very easy, and your recipient receives the money in seconds. One example is the Xoom Money Transfer where your debit or credit cards (Amex, Visa), US checking account or Paypal can be used to fund your transfer. Your recipient will be informed through a text message when the money is deposited or available for pick up.

Through Banks

Sending your money through banks is another secure way but this option is better if the recipient has a bank account with an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card. This makes it convenient for the recipient to withdraw cash anytime, and they are spared the trouble of having to wait for banking hours but you can still send money through banks even if the recipient does not have an account.

The banks can either deliver the money door to door or let your recipient pick up the money from their branches or pick up locations. You can avail of the services of the following banks: BPI Remittance, Citibank, Equitable PCI Bank Express Padala, PNB Europe, PNB Rapid Remit, RCBC Telemoney, Security Bank, and UCPB.

Money transfer agents

To date, the most popular way of sending money to the Philippines is through money transfer agents like the Western Union Money Transfer, LBC pick up and MoneyGram. These agents have their own web sites where you can send money online, or you can go to the nearest outlet and send the money through their offices with very minimal charges.

Claiming the money is quick and easy. With Western Union, the recipient does not have to spend precious time waiting for the bank to open because Western Union outlets have sprung up almost everywhere, even pawnshops on a 24-hour basis. The recipient can pick up the money the minute you send it by presenting even one valid identification card. If sent through LBC, recipients can also pick up the money in LBC outlets during office hours.

Other ways to send money to the Philippines are Allsafe (Australia), Atlas Xpress Padala, Forexworld, FX Remit, G-Cash (provided by Globe telecommunications), iKobo Lucky Money, MegaPadala, Moneygram International, MyAyala, Paystone, Philsend,Remithome, Smart Padala (provided by Smart telecommunications), Technocash (Australia), UK Moneygram, Uniteller, Wells Fargo, Xoom, and YesPinoy. These services are available in different areas.

One word of advice: You must be careful in sending money to the Philippines. It is better that you use the existing services and not send the money through a person or individual only to find out that somebody else is enjoying your money and your loved-one did not receive a single cent.
